SJJ Class Schedule Before beginning instruction a Judo and Jujitsu student is expected to purchase a gi (Judo and Jujitsu uniform), which usually costs between $50 and $60 (depending of the size needed). Uniforms can be purchased through Samurai Judo and Jujitsu. Students also must purchase membership in the United States Judo Association (USJA). Membership is currently $40.00* per year. For those students practicing Jujitsu, membership in the United States Jujitsu Federation (USJJF) is strongly encouraged, this is currently $25.00** per year. Classes are taught every weeknight with a Jujitsu class on Saturday morning. One Saturday a month there is a promotional skills clinic; dates can be found in the calendar section. Payment for classes is due during the last week of the month.
* Membership in USJA gives students supplemental medical insurance in case of injury while participating in Judo/Jujitsu class or in a USJA sanctioned event (like a tournament or clinic).
